About

Luis Sanchez

a lover of poetry for its magical power to reveal what one ignores, started writing poetry almost from his childhood. Educated in natural sciences out of whim, he uses poetry and stories as bridges to understand his surroundings.

The modernists of the 20th century, Dario, Juan Ramon Jimenez, and Paul Verlaine, are his parents and grandparents. Today, he writes in Spanish, his mother tongue, and also in English, his adopted language. He is a man between two worlds, in the vastness of existence on earth and in the immensity of the cosmos.
